Fool's Gold

I recently read an article on how asteroid mining may not be too far off in the future...particularly for minerals and valuable metal such as platinum and gold. It was an interesting read. I also remembered back in elementary school some kids having pyrite, or 'fool's gold', and going around saying they had pieces of real gold (the stuff does look kinda legit). All of these little things led to this cartoon that I whipped up pretty quick today.

Hologram Madness

Meant to have this up a little earlier, arg. Anways, I wasn't a big fan of the Tupac hologram but it sure did seem to get people's interest. Perhaps we are just seeing the beginning of hologram performances (something I'd personally never pay money to see). When Nature Calls

Always got to check in with Alien and Dog's two main bad guys every now and then. If you are new to Alien and Dog, the bad guys are General Zlorr and his evil robot (unnamed, maybe I should come up with one?) One thing is certain, the two adversaries will return to cause problems....

The Dark Knight Rises....early.

I am eagerly awaiting the summer blockbusters coming up: The Avengers, the new Spiderman, and most of all the third Batman- The Dark Knight Rises. I think it looks great- you can watch the trailer on youtube HERE. I also think the bad guy Bane will be fantastic, despite people clamoring that you can't hear what he's saying over his mask (hence Kevin's mumbling in the cartoon).
On a little side note, I need to improve my backgrounds in my cartoons. I wanted a better looking movie theater behind them but decided to post the cartoon as is to keep from a longer delay.

Happy Easter!!

While I do not have a new Easter themed Alien and Dog cartoon, I do have one from 2010 that I can post in the spirit of the holiday. I still think it holds up pretty good today, although my drawing style has probably improved a little bit. Hope everyone has a great Easter ( and hopefully no one gets any Peeps in their Easter baskets, those things are like little yellow marshmallow turds).

And I'll have a brand new cartoon up very soon!                   

First Date

Geel doesn't have the best of luck with the ladies. His last date was in October 2009, and can be viewed by clicking HERE. At least this time he had the courage to 'make a move' (and get shot down). Hang in there Geel, there's lots of other fish in the sea!

The Big Lottery

If I won the lottery, I would have a giant space station built called the Death Star as well. Who wouldn't want that?
